Introducing...Mabel!
About Mabel:
Mabel has not had a happy life so far. She is just 3 years old and has spent a majority of her life living in and enduring the horrors of a public kill shelter in Romania.
Mabel is very scared of people after the mistreatment and neglect she has suffered but after watching her fellow kennel friends interacting with us, she has recently become much more intersted in what she might be missing out on and is starting to investigate us. We are unable to touch Mabel yet and it will be quite some time until she is asking for this but we really do see so much potential in her.
With other dogs:
Mabel has mixed well with many dogs at the rescue. She has kennel shared with both male and female dogs and apart from a couple of squabbles with the other female (we're not sure who instigated these squabbles), she seems to prefer their company to being alone. We would consider a home for Mabel with a male dog of similar size, depending on a successfull meet. We believe she will also be ok living as an only dog.
