Pinky's Story:
Pinky is a young 9 month old pup that has never yet experienced a loving family or even a home.
She may have experienced the poorest of lives whilst living in a shelter in Romania but she's just the sweetest and most loving soul.
She has lived around violence which has resulted in Pinky being extremely submissive but once she trusts you, you'll become her absolute world.
Bio:
With other dogs:
Pinky has shown to be great with all dogs that she's met. She currently spends a lot of her time with our 5/6 month old, small breed puppies.
She can be very full on to start with but she does settle down in time.
With cats:
As Pinky is still settling in, we've not yet cat tested her. If you're seriously interested in Pinky and have a resident cat, please email adoptions@oakwooddogrescue.co.uk and we can arrange cat testing for her.
Looking for:
Active energy
Pinky has got very high energy levels and will need lots of physical exercise
0-2 hrs if only dog
Approx 4 hours with another dog in the home
Pinky has never lived in a home before and so will need to be left alone as little as possible to start with until she feels comfortable with being left
Lead trained
As Pinky is still new into our care, we've not yet tried her outside on a collar and lead. Lead training will come in time
Training required
Pinky has no form of basic training, this will all come in time once she has settled into her new home and learns to trust her adopters.
