Elara was rescued from a very overcrowded public shelter in Romania.
Lots of dogs are currernly not surviving these shelters for reasons such as dog attacks and their frail bodies not surviving the winters.
Elara didn't have a good start to life but she was lucky enough to be seen, rescued and brought to the UK to start her new life, being loved and cared for.

With other dogs:
Elara - has shown lots of people guarding recently and is chasing off bigger dogs, she is very uncomfortable sharing her people. She shows to be uncomfortable around other dogs in general. We believe it will be best for her to be adopted as only dog.
With cats:
Elara showed high prey drive when cat tested and didn't break her gaze for a second. For this reason, she wouldn't be safe to rehome with a cat in the home.

Moderate energy levels shown, she is an intelligent girl and so will require both physical and mental stimulation to prevent boredom

Elara has never been completely alone before and so any time alone will need to very slowly built up over time
