Introducing... Skyla!!

Skyla's Story:

Skyla is a young girl at only 11 months old.

She has spent almost her entire life living in public shelters in Romania. She is understandably nervous of new people and very wary of new environments.

She has never lived in a home before and whoever adopts her will need a lot of time and patience to slowly introduce her to every day items as she's never experienced them before and she can get very fearful.

With other dogs:

Skyla has been great with every dog she has met so far although with dogs that she really knows, such as her pal Pinky that she travelled with - she can get very rough with them so if she was to live with another dog, it must be of similar size to her and be able to stand up for themselves so she doesn't try to dominate them.

With cats:

We've not yet cat tested Skyla whilst we give her some time to settle in.

Skyla has shown that she has high energy levels

Skyla has never lived in a home before and so will need to be left alone for short periods to begin with until she feels safe alone in the home

Lead trained

Skyla has not yet been tried on a collar and lead but she can be very fearful in new situations so we believe this will be a work in progress and confidence and trust with the new owner will need to be built first
