Introducing.. our happy girl Millie <3
Millie's Story:
Millie was one of a group of 3 dogs that found themselves in a kill shelter in Romania. They were really struggling and it was unlikley that any where going to make it. They all had such gentle natures and wanted no trouble.
The other 2 dogs were lucky enough to be offered a rescue space quickly but poor Millie had nowhere to go and her future was not looking good.
We were asked if we could take her and after seeing her clinging on to one of the volunteer shelter workers, we couldn't say no so off she went for all of her tests and she was soon cleared to jump on the happy bus to the UK where she could begin her new life.

With other dogs:
Millie has been great with every dog that she has met. She's polite, playful and respects boundaries. She has lots of dog friends that she hangs out with but she's just as happy spending all of her time with her people too. She's not dependant on other dogs.
With cats:
Millie is not yet cat tested although with her gentle nature, we will be cat testing her as soon as she's settled in as we don't see there being an issue.
Active energy
As Millie is still settling in, she's making the most of any second she can get with us so we've not yet been able to assess her energy levels. We'd guess once settled into a home, she'll be of moderate to high energy
0 -2 hrs to start
Mille has spent his entire life being surrounded by other dogs and so has never been left alone, completely by herself. She will need a home where someone is around for most of the day and that can slowly build up her alone time to prevent creating separation anxiety and to show her that it is ok to be alone sometimes
Lead trained
Millie has only been with us a few days and so we've not yet started lead training
Training required
Millie has no form of basic training. This will all come in time once she has settled and learnt to fully trust her adopters
